Water within reach. No stopping, no digging, no breaking stride.
This sleeve clips directly onto your pack's shoulder strap with two Duraflex Siamese clips — your bottle is right there, every time, exactly where you left it. An elastic retaining strap pulls over the top to keep your bottle secure — no fumbling, no losing your water on a technical section. Moving water to your shoulder strap shifts weight forward and balances your load — a small change that makes a real difference on long miles. Designed around the Smartwater bottle and built to fit both the 700ml and 1L sizes, as well as the CNOC ThruBottle, Katadyn BeFree, and a variety of others in the same profile.
At 1oz, the sleeve itself disappears. The UltraGrid outer from Challenge Sailcloth is waterproof and built to last. The poly diver mesh reduces weight and lets the sleeve breathe. Together they hold your bottle secure through scrambles, stream crossings, and everything in between.
SPECS — Weight: 1oz — Material: UltraGrid from Challenge Sailcloth / Poly Diver Mesh — Attachment: Two Duraflex Siamese clips — Retention: Elastic retaining strap — Fits: Smartwater 700ml and 1L, CNOC Vecto, Katadyn BeFree, and similar profiles — Options: Choice of UltraGrid and mesh color combination

After reviewing in use photos it looks like more of an operator error issue 😊 (moving from 4 to 5 star)
However myself personally would still like the option for a larger strap clips.
This is a real great product and I love the color! My smart water bottle fits great.
The only thing I can think of for improvement ideas is a taller option for 1 letter smart bottles so they're not top heavy, and an option for larger strap clips.
I’ve used a drinking straw/tube connected to my smart water for years. But made the switch to this shoulder pouch and love it. Lighter and still very convenient and comfortable. Five stars!
Hey Lee,
Sweet appreciate the vote of confidence, We've seen a few folks with short straws in the sleeve and not even removing the bottle from the sleeve. best of both worlds, Maybe? seems like a great idea.
Keep Trekkin'

Favorite way to carry water bottles. I'm a little older and can't reach the water bottle holders on the pack. These are great and perfect for the 1 liter 'Smartwater' size. I usually use medium
weight zip ties to secure bottle sleeve closer to the shoulder strap. I also weave a zip tie around the opening of the sleeve to help keep it's round shape to reinsert the bottle on trail. With a little personal adaption to each pack-They Are Awesome!
Hey Scot,
That's an awesome hack! thanks for sharing. We are always glad to hear how people are enjoying our gear. My favorite way to carry bottles now is to load up two bottle sleeves in the front, one on each strap, The weight redistribution on a pack is phenomenal. give it a try.
Cheers,
Joe.
I love my ultragrid mesh bottles sleeve. In fact, I purchased one for myself, and then I bought 6 more for my wife and kids because they also loved these holders. Used them on the Appalachian trail. Quality craftsmanship. Love the easy access bungee to secure the top of bottle and prevent it from falling out.
