New Fabrics, and other things...

EcoPak has arrived!

We are excited to announce
EcoPak Fabric has arrived in the shop! We are starting out offering EPLX200 in two colors, Black and Lemon Lime, with plans to expand the color and fabric weight options. The best products to grab EcoPak with, are items typically made with XPac Fabrics currently.  We are working to get this option integrated with current listings and creating new listings as well, so if you don't see something listed with EcoPak as an option, message us on our shop for additional options.
What is Ecopak?
Ecopak is a 100% recycled polyester fabric made by Challenge Sailcloth that is both super durable and waterproof.  Every yard of Ecopak saves about one pound of carbon emissions compared to traditional fabrics, so it's a great step forward in sustainability.
We are working on sourcing and bringing this great new fabric, as an option for both new gear we are working on, and as an option on some of our great accessories already in the shop!  Super stoked to be able to offer this out in the world. Look for that coming out soon! we'll definitely keep you updated.
How are we giving back?

In keeping with our core tenant to give back to the hiking and outdoor community as an organization, we have made our first 1% revenue based donation to the Great Springs Project! We view this as vital to help support future generations having places to go enjoy the outdoors.

Great Springs Project is working to create a greenway of contiguous protected lands between Austin and San Antonio over the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone. This green corridor will be connected by a network of spring-to-spring trails, linking four of Texas’ Great Springs: Barton Springs, San Marcos Springs, Comal Springs, and San Antonio Springs. Great Springs Project envisions unifying existing local efforts to address the most critical water, land, wildlife, and public health challenges facing the Central Texas region.

We're joining Mercantile UL!

More exciting news, we are joining Mercantile.UL an online shop in the EU, for ultralight cottage gear! Three different items will be available this coming month of April over at MUL, including water bottle sleeves, and two sizes of Dyneema roll top sacks.

Super excited to be joining them and growing into other markets. The owner has been great to work with and we highly recommend going through them in the EU for ultralight gear!
